The
year is 2015. It has been almost twenty-five years since the conclusion
of The Second Vietnam War started by the impeached president Klaus
Johnson. The United States of America has not been the same, Terrorist
attacks, homeland revolts and global resentment has isolated the U.S.
And the plight of the everyday man has fallen since the start of a
recession that has lasted for almost a decade. The primary way of life
has taken on vast changes. These events have lead to a drastic change
in the way man has evolved and altered to survive the radical upheaval
of everyday life. The U.S Government in the throes of a depression has
been overrun by the escalation of crime and the emergence of a new
breed of warriors. Born to this age are men and women who've embraced
the codes and effects of warriors from ancient Japan and China. Warrior
classes have replaced gangs as the social class of the decaying urban
environment. Skill, knowledge and a willingness to genetically alter
oneself to achieve a superior capability has began to spread like a
plague among all societies and an ability to master the doctrines of
swordplay and the martial arts are the mantra of theses chaotic times
when the next challenge for supremacy can await the finest fighter just
around the corner. These changes have occurred over a span of decades,
and have grown out of their urban communities to entice the new
generation of youths. Warrior Classes have gone global, investing in
business and trades as well as their own illegal traits. Politicians
embrace Warrior leaders, as pillars of their communities and police
often look the other way as the hold of the crime increases. At the
forefront of these Warrior Classes are the " Horsemen". Four Special
Forces Soldiers captured behind enemy lines and taken as Prisoners of
War during The Second War of Vietnam in the 1980s. Over the course of
twenty years these men became slaves, students and gladiators to
Mu-Lung an ancient warrior from Asia... Mu-Lung, a mysterious man who
sensing these men's innate abilities rescued and transformed them into
unique fighters of unsurpassed abilities known and feared across the
continent. To the shame of their teacher Mu-Lung, three of these men
have returned to their country and began to use their abilities to
teach and corrupt the evolution of life on the streets by introducing a
deadly new life style with legions of eager pupils.The Horsemen introduced to the American ghetto the age of Warrior Classes that changes the natural evolution of to the poor communities. The Horsemen acting as almost mythic warriors have elevated themselves above their followers in the roles of Urban conquers. Under theses beliefs there has grown a society of warriors who follow a code written down by the Horsemen has been given the title of " The Urban Scroll."
A
vast array of fighters has emerged to loom over the streets. Placing a
low value on their own lives and everyone around them. These warriors
live for the moment of the fight, which they call " GALTOW " And to
become a Galtow master is to exceed all others and be treated with
unrivaled respect. To these ends fighters will go to any length,
including genetic enhancements and cyborg augmentations.
Murder
betrayal and death are their credo, and over the decades thought the
guidance of these men and their sacred beliefs they have warped a
society of street warriors that have grown up with the mantra of what
these warriors adhere to from birth, and to survive on these dangerous
streets all must embrace aspects of dress, behavior, and even
confrontations are very carefully ordered.
Under
the Horsemen The Galtow has become their doctrine. Along with their
strict mantra of martial arts expertise the Urban Scroll embraces a
life style that adheres to natural conflicts caused by a life of
constant confrontation brought on by the " only the strong will survive
" philosophy.
Based
on the Urban Scroll's rules Warrior Clans are shot through with
intrigues, political maneuvering, desperate gambles, and furtive
meetings in back alleys to exchange information, Miss-directions, and
often-deadly duels. The ultimate goal of all Warrior Classes is to gain
power and status. On which the way of life has been redesigned on the
streets, embraced by a generation of children looking for a different
path to direct their anger at a failed government... The new way is
that of the Ninja, the Samurai, the Sumo--- And the Yakuza
It all seemed like a Dream...
Five
years ago, the cities of Washington, Paris, Moscow, London and
Jerusalem were already gone by the time the people of Earth realized
they were under attack. Buildings toppled, bridges collapsed, millions
perished, cities were consumed by fire, pillars of black smoke speared
the sky...
Minutes
passed and two massive vessels eclipsed our obit. An hour passed, Asia
and South America no longer existed, and another hour and Australia
disappeared. A day passed and nuclear capacity had been disrupted
across the globe.... The important components had ceased to exist.
As
the Earth shook, a towering Island rose upwards at the center of what
was once the Continent of Asia. A Race who called themselves the Dimm
had defeated Humanity - It only took them two days... Announcing that
they were the New Sovereign and using Human survivors as slaves the
Dimm began to raise massive spheres that generated a global Shield
around planet. Humans died by the millions but the Dimm did not care,
all that mattered were the building of the spheres. The Unseen Dimm
imposed their will upon the Earth, transforming the world into a global
prison for the Universe's most vile beings, political non-conformist,
and murderers.
